Keynote: Peter K. Jackson, PhD, Professor of Microbiology and Immunology (Baxter Labs) and of Pathology at Stanford University School of Medicine

Dr. Jackson’s laboratory studies signaling pathways related to human disease. He has been using high throughput screening and profiling as a well as a wide range of biochemical, genetic, and molecular approaches to decipher the role of signaling pathways in cancer, diabetes, and cilia-related diseases and syndromes.

The purpose of the Cell Biology Research Symposium is to bring together faculty, postdoctoral fellows, students, and staff from OUHSC, OMRF, the University of Oklahoma, and other regional institutions and encourage the exchange of ideas within the community of scientists who work at the forefront of cell biological research.
